Katie Thompson

Katie Thompson is a full time primary school teacher in Hull specialising in sports science. Outside of teaching, Katie has been playing a decisive role for Hull City Ladies for nearly two years.

After her successful spell at Yorkshire rivals Leeds United, Katie has established her role as a winger and strong leader in the team. Katies leadership skills have continued to develop with Hull City Ladies, which has helped establish her position of club spokeswoman for the club.

Katie has been achieving in football since starting her football career at Hessle Rangers where she earned 2008 Players Player of the year and Managers' Player of the year in 2009.

2011 was another successful year for Katie as she helped instigate the East Riding League and Cup double for Pinefleet Wolfreton. Katie was awarded the 2011 Wyke College Managers player of the year.

Katies interests outside of football are Animals, Fashion, TV and Film.
